They say laughter is the best medicine and we can definitely attest to the statement as we did exactly that on Saturday the 21st of September. What better way is there to end off a long week than with a night of style, drinks and much laughter, you may ask? Well, there really isn’t.
Tribal Freedom Fighter had the great honor of partnering with Moses Wasitu Productions in presenting Toseka Night, starring none other than Vue De Loin among many other talented artists and comedians. This was a night aimed at bringing people together through a jam packed entertainment lineup insuring glasses were filled to the brim and tummies ached from laughter.
Guests poured in style in at Lycee Francais as we served an array of drinks as well as our very own branded Tribal Freedom Fighter water in great anticipation of the night. Here is what some of the guests had to say:
“I used to watch Vue De Loin growing up so it was such a treat getting to see him perform live and in person”
“It was a great night, filled with much laughter, it was a great time for us as Congolese to gather and showcase our comedy and music to the South Africans and the rest of the continent”
“I am South African and I have never been to any Congolese event, this was a great way to get a glimpse of their culture and comical side”
A special thanks to Vue De Loin, Sundiata, Prince as well as our musicians Stephy and Urie Kat De Luna. It was a great evening and much healing laughter was served indeed.
